Knitting and my dog, what could be better?

Pink, Orange, Red

I've had this ball of yarn for years. It was a natural color and kinda boring, and then I read about dyeing with kool aid.

I got my 75ยข together and bought orange, cherry, and strawberry.

Here are the results...not bad.

Now what should I make with this yarn? I have about 250 yards...not enough for a scarf, unless it's a skinny one...maybe Matilda will get another sweater...I did rewrite my favorite pattern to be knit in the round, after all.

Our friend, Celine

Celine is a huge fan of this blog...she looks at it all the time, hence the reason she is so sleepy here.

Her mommy doesn't know that she's online all day long, looking at this blog and teaching herself how to knit...she's even spinning her own fur into yarn.

Wait until her mommy sees the fabulous scarf she is planing on making for her birthday. If only she'd pick that yarn color (hint, hint!)

Yes, more evidence that Matilda and Puff are friends.

Here they are looking at the squirrels outside.

Same Scarf

Matilda loves this scarf.

I actually had a hard time taking a pic of the Baby Soft with it as a background...

there was a little doggie who kept getting in the frame.

Love's Baby Soft

My wonderful husband bought me Love's Baby Soft for Christmas.

Yes, they still make it!

And yes, it still smells the same: equal parts baby powder and play doh, with a hint of a crayola crayon. Pretty addictive stuff!

By the way, the background is a scarf I knitted a long time ago...this is a knitting blog, after all!

Best Friends

Puff is Matilda's Best Friend.

Matilda is Puff's Worst Enemy.

But sometimes they get along.

This photo was not altered at all in Photoshop.

(Seriously!)

And her eyes don't normally look like that. It must have been a wild, wild catnip night.
